After a very busy Christmas & New year the hotel is now closed again until the end of March, to allow for more redecorating, however I must also confess to spending time in the garage preparing my 1948 Bristol for the Winter Trial to Salzburg, with the aim to raise funds for the Oaks Diabetic Fund. (this can be followed on www.thetrial.nl).  Hopefully this will be year that we make it without any major breakdown,(some hope).

Anne has at last finished with the boxes of Seville oranges making marmalade for the forthcoming season

The Stag, that has been routinely ravishing our garden, appears to have moved on, however the badgers are still taking great delight on rotovating ouf front lawn, all part of the wonders of living on Exmoor.
